Before you trust a sourcing advisor
I’m paid by the buyer — you. Here’s exactly where I stand, so you can decide with a clear eye instead of a sales pitch.
Why I’m on the buyer’s side
Most sourcing help is paid by someone else — the factory, the agent, the platform. I’m not. Here’s the difference that makes.
Paid by you
You pay me a fixed fee, an hourly rate, or a monthly retainer. Your budget is on the line — so my job is to protect it, not to push a particular supplier.
No commissions
Suppliers pay me nothing — no commission, no kickback, no hidden rebate. So my only incentive is your interest.
Independent of factories
I don’t own a factory and I’m not tied to any single supplier. The recommendation is built around your spec, not my inventory.
Why I don’t take commissions: I work on a fixed fee, an hourly rate, or a monthly retainer, and suppliers pay me nothing. If a factory paid me, the advice you get would quietly tilt toward whoever pays me most. I’d rather you know exactly whose side I’m on — yours.
My scope is deliberately narrow: dietary supplements and botanical extracts, from raw material to finished product. I don’t work on pharmaceutical APIs, medical devices, or bulk ordinary food — and I’ll tell you plainly if your project is outside it.
The questions worth asking first
Do you represent any factory?
No. I’m an independent advisor paid by the buyer, working through my own company — not an agent of any factory.
Do you take commissions or kickbacks?
Never. You pay me; suppliers pay me nothing, so my only incentive is your interest.
Why should I trust what you tell me?
20+ years inside China’s supply chain, on the buyer’s side, and I show you my reasoning — not just a conclusion.
What’s your scope?
Dietary supplements and botanical extracts, from raw material to finished product. Not APIs, medical devices, or bulk ordinary food.
Is my information confidential?
Yes. Client details are kept confidential and never shared with suppliers without your consent.
