Independent China sourcing advisor — paid by you, not by factories.
I’m Luo Gang. For 20+ years I’ve worked inside China’s health-product supply chain, and for 10+ of them I’ve run my own biotech company focused on botanical extracts and dietary supplements. I help overseas buyers see clearly — from spec to shipment.
You don’t need another agent. You need someone on your side of the table.

Two decades inside China’s health-product supply chain
I’m a native Chinese speaker, based in China, so I see how suppliers actually operate, day to day. I’ve met every kind of factory and sales model you can imagine — including the trading companies that approach overseas buyers pretending to be factories.
That on-the-ground view is exactly what’s missing when you’re sourcing from halfway around the world. I translate what’s really happening on the ground into plain, practical advice you can act on — without the sales pitch.
I don’t own a factory — and I never pretend to be one.
I take no commissions, kickbacks, or hidden rebates from suppliers.
I’m paid by buyers — and only buyers.
That’s the whole reason buyers trust me to sit on your side of the table.
What I’ve seen — and why it matters to you
Over the years I’ve watched the same patterns repeat. Here’s one that catches a lot of first-time buyers.
Traders posing as factories
Plenty of “factories” that email you are actually trading companies. They can’t control the production line, the quality, or the lead time — yet they quote like they own the plant. I help you tell the difference before you wire a deposit.
Paperwork that doesn’t hold up
COAs and certificates get edited, backdated, or issued by labs nobody actually audits. A polished PDF is not the same as a result you can trust. I read the documents the way a chemist would — and show you what’s missing.
Here’s the part people miss: it’s not that “all Chinese goods are bad.” Real, fixable pitfalls exist at predictable points in the process — and seeing them early is the difference between a smooth order and an expensive lesson. That’s the work I do with you.
Why I’m on the buyer’s side
Most sourcing help is paid by someone else — the factory, the agent, the platform. I’m not. Here’s the difference that makes.
Paid by you
You pay me a fixed fee. Your budget is on the line — so my job is to protect it, not to push a particular supplier.
No commissions
Suppliers pay me nothing — no commission, no kickback, no hidden rebate. So my only incentive is your interest.
Independent of factories
I don’t own a factory and I’m not tied to any single supplier. The recommendation is built around your spec, not my inventory.
Why I don’t take commissions: if a supplier paid me, the advice you get would quietly tilt toward whoever pays me most. I’d rather you know exactly whose side I’m on — yours. I work on a fixed fee, hourly, or monthly retainer, and suppliers never enter that equation.
My scope is deliberately narrow: dietary supplements and botanical extracts, from raw material to finished product. I don’t work on pharmaceutical APIs, medical devices, or bulk ordinary food — and I’ll tell you plainly if your project is outside it.
My network — and my independence
Through my own company I’ve built a broad network of suppliers and third-party labs across China. That network is a resource for you — not a leash.
Broad, not exclusive
I’m connected to many suppliers, not locked to one. If a factory isn’t right for your spec, I’m free to say so and point elsewhere.
Independent of any employer
I advise you through my own company. I’m not a procurement arm of any employer, and I never use your inquiry to further someone else’s sales quota.
Who I work with
If you’re bringing a supplement or botanical product to market and sourcing from China, we’ll probably get along.
Brand owners & practitioners
You have a formula or a concept and need a spec, a supplier, and a clear read on quality — without learning the hard way.
Procurement & Amazon sellers
You already buy from China and want a second pair of eyes on specs, COAs, contracts, and the suppliers behind them.
What I don’t do: pharmaceutical APIs, medical devices, and bulk ordinary food. I keep my focus on dietary supplements and botanical extracts so the advice stays sharp and grounded in real experience.
Before you trust a sourcing advisor
Do you represent any factory?
No. I’m an independent advisor paid by the buyer, working through my own company. I’m not an agent of any factory, so I never have to choose between your interest and a supplier’s.
Do you take commissions or kickbacks?
Never. You pay me; suppliers pay me nothing — no commission, no kickback, no hidden rebate. My only incentive is your interest.
Why should I trust what you tell me?
Because I’m on your side of the table by design. I give you the reasoning, not just a conclusion — what I checked, what I found, and what it means for your order. You can follow the logic yourself.
What’s your scope?
Dietary supplements and botanical extracts, from raw material to finished product. I don’t work on pharmaceutical APIs, medical devices, or bulk ordinary food.
Is my information confidential?
Yes. Your details stay confidential and are never shared with suppliers without your explicit consent. The work is between you and me.
